The qualifications for all our volunteers are as follows:
- Christian with a personal salvation testimony
- Love for children and Jesus
- CEF background check by following steps below

NEW VOLUNTEERS (18 & OVER)
- Read our Statement of Faith
- Read and sign our Workers Compliance Agreement
- Read our Child Protection Policy
- Watch our 9-minute Protecting Today's child presentation or listen at 1-866-878-4182
- Complete our Online Background Screening Form
- Your local CEF office will contact you for an interview and ID confirmation.
NEW VOLUNTEERS (17 and UNDER)
- Read Volunteer Application and Screening Instructions
- Read our Statement of Faith
- Read and sign our Workers Compliance Agreement
- Read our Child Protection Policy
- Watch our 9-minute Protecting Today's child presentation or listen at 1-866-878-4182
- Contact your local CEF office for an interview and ID confirmation
NEW DRIVERS (25 and OVER)
- Register by request from Local Director and may involve combination of other requirements on this page
- Between 25 and 70 years of age
- Must pass Background Check
- Requires valid driver's license and proof of adequate insurance
- Read CEF Transportation Policy
- Submit Driver's Application
- File Collision Report Form if necessary
CURRENT VOLUNTEERS (INCLUDING DRIVERS) - ANNUAL REQUIREMENTS
Note: If you have been inactive for one full calendar year, you are considered a new volunteer and you must complete the steps in that section.

- Driver Registration (see above) must be renewed
ONCE EVERY 5 YEARS
