Happy New Year
At this time we reflect on the past and look forward to the future. This is true in ministry too. December was a busy month for my family, but most memorable was that my girls and I had a blast doing several Christmas Party Clubs.
The children learned what Isaiah prophesied 700 years before Christ. The significance of His birth was taught clearly and children can believe and understand how much God loves them.
Think of the countless children in our neighborhoods who have never heard this truth. No one has told them what God spoke through Isaiah and many other profits. They've never heard that this baby grew to be a perfect man and paid the ultimate price for their sins. Many children don't even know the name Jesus. If you have done fair ministry with us, you would have experienced this first hand.
Will you ask God how you can reach these children? It's not too early to commit to hosting or conducting a party club for Valentines or Easter. Just let me know !
They are waiting for someone to tell them
For 85 years, CEF has been sharing the Gospel with boys and girls. Over these years, millions of children have heard the Good News and their lives were changed forever. Some of these children led their siblings and parents to the Lord after accepting Christ. When Sue Y. was 8 years old she received Jesus as her Savior during one of our 'backyard Bible clubs' as she called it.
She went home to tell her brother what she learned. He also accepted Christ that summer! Sue shared this story with me a few months ago and told me that it's been over 50 years and she never lost her faith. Both her and her brother are still following the Lord. Praise be to God!
CEF volunteers are so dedicated to reaching the children and we are just as dedicated in training our workers. Coming up in January is our Christian Youth In Action reunion. CYIA is a dynamic and intense training camp we hold each year in June. Leaders, age 12 and up, are trained how to share the Gospel with children and teach our summer 'backyard Bible clubs' called 5-Day clubs.

Anyone serious about coming to camp in 2023 is welcome to come to reunion for a time of fellowship and worship.
Romans 10:14 (ESV) tells us "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone
preaching?"

We now have clubs in Peninsula School District, South Kitsap School District and Central Kitsap School District. Enrollment is always open, so please spread the word about our new clubs at Hidden Creek and Harbor Heights.
